That’s it ! A month and a half after their arrival in French Guiana, Christian Clot and the climatonauts have completed the first of the three journeys of Deep Climate expedition ! 40 days of immersion in the Guyanese rainforest which both tested and amazed them. Despite the tiredness, smile was on their faces when they arrived.
Then it was time to prepare the way back to France. Only a few days to gather and pack all the material and the plane was waiting for them. Christian and the first part of the team landed on Tuesday morning at Orly airport, bringing the mission to an end ! A bit of rest for everyone before starting the post-mission scientific protocols on the next day. The second part of the team follows the same schedule upon their return to Paris on Wednesday morning.
